First project management committee meeting
TUC
As the lead partner, the TUC (can we have a link here to the TUC website please) will actively manage and coordinate the development of innovative course delivery techniques and materials and quality assure them to ensure they are coherent and cohesive and of the highest standard. An experienced administrative and financial planning management team will complement this work and ensure the project is managed efficiently and effectively.
Experienced and expert TUC policy and educational staff will contribute to the workpackages by developing innovative and engaging content, apply existing knowledge of robust experiential pedagogical method and in depth understanding of innovative learning that is at the forefront of technological developments.
The TUC will support and share best practice with other consortium partners by managing the production of support and guidance material for trade union education professionals.

SAK
SAK (SAK website link http://www.sak.fi/english/whatsnew.jsp?location1=1&lang=en) will form part of the PMC and participate in the management of the project. Throughout the project, SAK will contribute to the development of workpackage deliverables and develop their online education programme following strategies produced as part of the project.
SAK will share their knowledge and experience with the consortium throughout. Specifically SAK will coordinate the development of innovative learning tools and accompanying guidance.
SAK will also contribute to and support the development of innovative course delivery methods and materials. SAK policy staff will help produce guidance on new and robust experiential pedagogical method and information vodcasts for trade union educators.
SAK will actively disseminate the activities of the project to relevant parties in Finland. SAK will also publicise their involvement using electronic and conventional media.

LO-Sweden

CITUB
CITUB (http://www.knsb-bg.org/knsb/) will form part of the PMC and participate in the management of the project. Throughout the project, CITUB will contribute to the development of workpackage deliverables.
CITUB will develop their tutors, curriculum and online learning strategy in adherence to systems and quality processes developed during the project. CITUB will also be responsible for the internal translation of the toolkit manuals and evaluation reports into Bulgarian.
CITUB will also contribute to and support the development of innovative course delivery methods and materials. CITUB policy staff will help produce guidance on new and robust experiential pedagogical method and information vodcasts for trade union educators.
CITUB will actively disseminate the activities of the project to relevant parties in Bulgaria. They will also publicise their involvement using electronic and conventional media.

ETUI
ETUI (http://www.etui.org/) will form part of the PMC, but will not be funded for this particular role in the project. In year two they will appoint a dedicated Project Officer who will contribute to the development of the deliverables.
ETUI will lead the exploitation of the project results and products and will encourage trade union confederations to adopt best practice and develop e-learning strategies in line with project guidance. They will help to establish the project website and toolkit as a key resource for developing trade union education professionals by mainstreaming and encouraging its use.
ETUI will take an overview of the dissemination activities and assist partners in the coordination of their own dissemination plans. ETUI will be responsible for dissemination to European bodies and stakeholders and will be responsible for the dissemination and impact of the tools and reports created by the project to affiliated trade unions. ETUI will organise and host the final dissemination conference.

Open University
The Open University (http://www.open.ac.uk/) will form part of the PMC and participate in the management of the project. The OU will have specific responsibility for providing a coherent systematic monitoring and evaluation of the project.
The OU will be responsible for producing two reports into the application of new technologies and development of innovative tools upon workplace representatives and evaluate their impact upon trade union education professionals.
The reports will be published at the final dissemination conference. OU representatives will attend events and conferences to promote the work to appropriate Higher Education organisations and bodies and within the OU itself.

Lewisham College
Lewisham College (http://www.lewisham.ac.uk/) trade union tutors will manage the production of video content to enhance online course material.
The trade union studies department of Lewisham College will also be responsible for developing course material for online delivery. The course development team will apply methods and tools developed by the project and subsequently the college tutors will deliver the enhanced online courses to union representatives.
Trade union tutors from Lewisham College will contribute to the development of the tutor training course GReET. College educators will be responsible for the delivery of the pilot course to other trade union tutors from the partner countries.

Open Learning Partnership (OLP)
OLP (http://www.olp.org.uk/) will provide unique expertise to develop methodologies to apply open learning to adult education and ensure appropriate and robust quality frameworks are adhered to.
OLP will offer specialist knowledge of applying management systems and processes to online programmes and will contribute to the production of the online development and management manual.
OLP will assist and contribute to the development of innovative tools used during the project and will also take special responsibility for producing the best practice guidance on the effective and efficient use of e-learning tools for trade union trainers.
OLP will take responsibility for developing the guide to standards for online programmes and for the management of the website helpdesk facility. OLP will be responsible for ensuring that products developed comply with these standards.
